Hong Kong International Airport

The bright, open, airy, Terminal 1 at HKG Hong Kong International Airport. Officially the very *last* photo I took in Asia, from the Thai Airways Royal Orchid Lounge. Air Canada does not actually have a lounge in the airport, so, eligible passengers are allowed to visit either the Thai Airways Lounge, or the United Red Carpet Lounge. I visited both, and the Thai Airways lounge was decidedly nicer; though quite small and very crowded. They had a good selection of Thai food, and Chinese Dim Sum, and a nice sitting room with the A/C cranked up, unlike the rest of the rather stuffy terminal. Overall, not a terrible place to kill some time between flights. Or in my case, six hours.

A Hong Kong singer, Janice. CD album = Morning I LOVE THIS SONG THE MOST XD I tried to fly away I tried to find a place Followed a shooting star We fired up the car And travelled to a far Everyday We shared a ‘Sianese dream’ Beside the schoolyard stairs The songs we used to love No longer good enough To keep you from burning up Please take me back in time with you To a time when you were true Visit all seven wonders There won’t be another To keep me satisfied If I can fall back into you There is nothing I can’t do If I’m under the weather We talk, I feel better At least I knew I had Someone who cared Somebody baby I tried to stay away I tried to give you space I could’t help myself I only wanted to help You pushed my arms away Then one day You walked another way A place I couldn’t stay My compass fell apart I don’t know where to star To keep this from tearing up Please take me back in time with you To a time when you were true Visit all seven wonders There won’t be another To keep me satisfied If I can fall back into you There is nothing I can’t do If I’m under the weather We talk, I feel better At least I knew I had Someone who cared Somebaby baby

Day 2
Went to pay respects to my grandmother on my mom’s side (since it’s the first anniversary of her passing), but also ended up visiting my other grandmother as well. My father mentioned that the last time he visited her was a year and a half ago (because it’s not a convenient spot at all to visit), and vowed that if his new business takes flight he will pay for renovations of her gravestone.

Shenzeb is a big industrial city with many factories and a lot of shipping is done there. I would skip Shenzen. Hong Kong has many places to visit like the Budda on the mountain. I like the south beach on Macau just enjoy 7 days will let you see it all.

You could probably spend 2 days in Shenzhen, visit several of its attractions such as Windows of the World, Happy place, Dong Men shopping street, etc. 1 day in Macau to visit the Venetian, and if you want, try the bungee jump. And the rest of the days in Hong Kong. Check out the site below for places go.

when in KL, u hv 8 hrs. but duno if u can head out or not fr the immigration as not all the countries wil allow. i knew singapore can. even provide u a half day tour. u sh chk w/ ur travel agency in advance or chk the KL airport website. then shenzhen + macau…..both places can be in one day. but u need a china visa to entering shenzhen. when u chk-in to ur HK hotel….u can ask ur concierge to do it for u. usually take 1 overnite 4 the visa issue + $. but i dun think shenzhen is a v interesting place. it’s kinda messy the city / only selling fake goods everywhere. not much sight seeing pt. n those taxi drivers r v v tricky. so beware if u r really going. n to macau, it’s safe there. just 1 hour boat u can reach there. take the boat fr shun tak pier in sheung wan. boats run 24-7 so u can go anytime u want. n back anytime u want. just beware when peak days such as Sat, Sun, public holiday in HK wil be v crowded. better go on w.days.
for HK, disney is easy to approach. just take our convenience MTR to the sunny bay station & shift a mickey’s train. u wil spend one day there….wait 4 the fireworks b4 closing. n shopping is everywhere in HK….n cthey closed late. so no worry & no rush. the laregst mall in HK wil be located in TST –> harbour city mall. opened daily 10 to 10. another shopping district wil be in causeway bay. u can also take MTR there easy. http://www.mtr.com.hk/eng/train/system_map.html
madame tussads…. it’s on the Peak. guess u can head up to the peak like 3 or 4pm…. into the wax museum…. then come back out 4 the sunset aro 630pm…. n make a reservation in one of the restaurant on the peak so to enjoy some nite scene. http://www.thepeak.com.hk/en/home.asp
u can spend one day to visit the giant buddha. it’s stunning….. http://www.np360.com.hk/html/eng/front/index.asp
just MTR to tung chung terminal & shift a cable car there. we even had a glass cable car / v exciting. after uphill to the buddha….. visit the only outlets mall in HK.. it’s closed like after 9pm.

w/ a famous food court inside…. n just rite sticked w/ tung chung terminal.

Frankly I’ld skip Shenzhen it’s only a city of 30 years old, every tourists spot are counterfeits of the real, quite representing the modern era of Mainland China’s attitudes. Every Hongkongers and foreigners got mugged at least once in Lowu after leaving the Mainland Immigration.
For sight seeing in HK simply check http://www.DiscoverHongKong.com and have a wonderful stay!
